- Keep a pen and paper in your vehicle at all times
- Write down names, phone numbers and addresses of the other driver and anyone at the scene.
- Copy all information from the other driver’s license, insurance card, registration card and write down the tag number, color, make and model of the other vehicle.
- Take pictures at the scene of vehicles and their location.
- Note any passengers in each vehicle and obtain their information as well.
- Seek immediate medical attention.
- Call a lawyer before you speak with the other insurance company.
